Management of resources for orthopedic oncology and trauma patients during the COVID-19 pandemic: A retrospective cohort study

Introduction/Objective. This study aims to evaluate changes in surgical strategy and orthopedic epidemiology, compare the frequency of surgeries before during COVID-19 pandemic. Methods. For periods from April 1 May 31 years 2019 2020, retrospective data on patient demographics types procedures were obtained hospital databases a tertiary referral hospital. Results. During pandemic, most common performed trauma surgery (n = 81), while other referred oncology 19), biopsy 11), debridement 10), amputation 6), dysplastic hip 5), knee ligament repair 1).
